2020 Kia Mohave pictures revealed, looks more premium than ever

The Mohave is Kia's flagship and it is also known as the Borrego in a few markets. It is a 5-door SUV first launched by Kia Motors in 2008. Official images of Kia Mohave are revealed and images show that this is a very good looking and premium car.

In the front end, the new-gen Mohave features a more sophisticated tiger-nose front grille with parted headlights and quadra illuminations on either side of the bumper. The front bumper looks sportier with vertically stacked fog lamps placed on both the ends of the wide central air inlet. As the Mohave is built for off-roading purpose, the front and rear bumper are protected by underbody skid plates. The rear end looks appealing with the Mohave logo inscribed in the center in between the matrix style LED tail lamps. It also gets an impressive trapezoidal chrome exhaust system.

It is essentially a toned-down version of the Mohave concept unveiled at the 2019 Seoul Motor show. So it retains most of the features including dual-tone black and tan finish which is brand new from the old model, tan Nappa leather upholstery with contrast dashboard, heated and ventilated seats, multiple charging ports, wireless charging facility, neatly finished centre console with twin cup holders and centre stack with drive modes and control buttons for hill assist. It comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, bigger AC vents and heads up display. Furthermore, the dashboard is layered with wooden finish covering the width the chrome accents add to the dynamic appeal.

About the telematics and infotainment system, it gets state of the art 12.3-inch infotainment system in the middle of the dashboard with connectivity features. One can find all the controls in the infotainment system with minimalistic use of physical buttons hence offering more upmarket ambiance. Mohave leaves no stone unturned, it surely covers all the luxurious features including dual-zone climate control and steering mounted controls for various operations providing the occupants with a whole new level of comfort.

The Mohave is truly built for all terrains offering six drive modes- dirt, snow, sport, sand, eco and comfort. It is offered in five fascinating colours like Snow white pearl, Aurora black pearl, platinum graphite, Steel grey and Rich espresso. The Mohave is powered by 3.0Litre Turbocharged V6 diesel engine churning out 356PS power and 560Nm of peak torque mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox powering all four wheels.

Kia Telluride has been awarded as the “World car of the year 2020" beating rivals like Mazda 3 and Mazda CX-30 among 25 other cars. So Telluride's sibling Mohave will undoubtedly continue the legacy for its overall excellent value, along with impressive power and towing capacity, interior space, visibility and an extensive list of standard features.
