Maruti Suzuki Nexa dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the new Baleno that will launch in the upcoming month. The bookings start at a token of Rs.11,000.
Like its predecessor, the new Baleno will be featured in multiple variants and exterior paint shades, although no detailed feature list is not out yet.
The facelifted Baleno will feature new design changes, including new LED headlights and taillights, restyled bumpers, new alloys, a wider grille, and a reworked tailgate. Talking about the interior, the car will get a completely redesigned dashboard that features a free-standing infotainment screen.
The new Baleno is likely to be powered by two 1.2-liter petrol engines – one producing 90hp with 12V mild-hybrid technology and the other producing 83hp. However, the current CVT units may be replaced by AMT versions in the future.
The 2022 Baleno will take over the existing model, ranging between Rs. 6.14 Lakh to Rs. 9.66 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). In the market, it will go against the likes of Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo, and Toyota Glanza.
