COVID-19: Ford India to manufacture Face Shields at Chennai

Ford India today introduced a series of tasks to help combat the continued coronavirus pandemic. Ford has set up a group to produce private shielding equipment - face shields, at its Chennai and Sanand plants. The defensive face protection is designed and developed by Ford engineers and can be allotted to doctors, paramedics, sanitary workers, and emergency staff. Furthermore, the business enterprise has stated that it will make contributions to the Prime Minister National Relief Fund (PMNRF) and is likewise working toward raising $1 million capacity aid as a part of Ford's international COVID-19 Donation Match program.


Through the COVID-19 Donation Match, Ford plans to cover the needs of the specially-abled groups suffering from the virus outbreak. The program also offers Ford's employees, as well as their households and friends, an opportunity to donate to nonprofits and other network organizations of their efforts to meet coronavirus-related desires in more than 20 countries across the world.
