A refreshed version of the five-seat SUV, Jeep Compass, was launched earlier this year. While the first price increment was levied in October 2021, Jeep India has discreetly hiked the prices yet again which have gone up by up to Rs 58,000 (ex-showroom).
The 2021 Compass features highlights such as LED projector headlamps, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, a dual-pane sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, 18-inch alloy wheels, and electrically-adjustable front seats.
Under the hood, the Jeep Compass boasts 1.4-liter petrol or 2.0-liter diesel engines. The former produces 161bhp and 250Nm of peak torque while the latter packs a punchier output of 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. Both the guises are available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
All diesel and petrol variants of the Compass, excluding the Sport 1.4 Petrol DCT, get an increment of Rs 50,000. The Sport 1.4 Petrol DCT is hiked by Rs 58,000. In the earlier price revision, the Longitude and Sport (O) were increased by Rs 10,000.
