Jeep will launch new SUVs to compete with Brezza, Venue, Fortuner, and Endeavour

The American carmaker Jeep is now coming up with Brand New SUVs to compete against Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor and in the sub-4-meter SUV segment, it will compete against Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue. We can expect a wide range of products from Jeep soon in Indian Markets as well currently the Jeep is in the Indian market with exiting models like Jeep Compass and Compass Trail hawk as they are locally made in India as well.

The wide range of products from jeep may include a sub-4-meter SUV to compete against Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, and the Jeep sub-4-meter SUV concept is based on Fiat's Panda 4x4. Although there is no official announcement on this, and it is in the underdevelopment stag. Jeep sub-4-meter may offer with the rugged design combined with off-road capabilities that suit the Indian car lovers' expectations as well. The pricing is expected at Rs. 8 lakhs to 12 lakhs which will be launching in 2021. The Jeep Sub-4-Meter SUV is also expected to be the only SUV in category to offer 4-Wheel-drive System.

The Jeep Sub-4-Meter SUV may offer with these engine options-

  • 1.6-liter MJD Diesel Engine.

  • 1.3-liter Turbocharged Petrol Engine.

Jeep the American Automaker is also coming up with the 7-Seater which will be competing against the premium SUVs like Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor as well. We can expect the 7-Seater model from Jeep an extension to the existing Jeep Compass. The premium SUV is expected to have the pricing tag of Rs. 28 lakhs to 32 lakhs and the expected launch will be in 2021. The Jeep has chosen a right capable FCA Ranjangaon facility for the development of 7-seater as well. The 7-Seater from Jeep will be offered with engine options like -

  • 1.3-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged MultiAir 16V engine featuring Electrically control Value Opening.

  • Offering 180 bhp of maximum power and 225-245 Nm of peak torque.

  • 6-speed Manual and 9 speed ZF sourced automatic unit transmission as well.

  • 2.0-liter Turbocharged Diesel engine with 170bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.

Although it takes a lot of time to come up with successful Models lets hope the models from Jeep would be suiting the expectations of Indian car lovers and we can expect these models from Jeep will be launching in 2021.
