Tata Motors launched the Nexon XZ+(S), the premium Sub-4m SUV variant with Sunroof in India, priced from Rs. 10.10 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi) which is placed between XZ+ and XZ+(O) variant.

With the increasing demand for Sunroof, Tata Motors has launched the Nexon XZ+(S) in petrol as well as a diesel option. However, the petrol and diesel variant is offered in 4 options - XZ+(S), XZ+(S) Dual tone, XZ+(S) AMT and XZ+(S) AMT Dual tone. So, the pricings are between Rs. 10.1 Lakhs and Rs. 10.9 Lakhs for petrol variants depending upon the option. Similarly, for diesel engines, the price starts from Rs. 11.6 Lakhs to Rs. 12.4 Lakhs depending upon the variant you choose. Currently, Nexon is offered in 9 variants including the newly added XZ+(S) to its existing lineup. The Nexon XZ+(S) variant is currently placed between XZ+ and XZ+(O) variant in terms of price. The XZ+(S) Petrol shares its power train platform with the top-end variant XZ+(O) producing 118.8bhp power and 170Nm torque from the Revotron 1.2L Turbocharged petrol engine. On the other hand, the Diesel variant is powered by 1.5 L Turbocharged Revotron units churning out 108bhp power and 260Nm torque. Both are paired with a 6-speed manual as well as Automatic transmission.

Moving on to the comfort and convenience feature that comes with XZ+(S), it borrows most of the features from the top-end variant other than the connected car technology such as iRA connected app, Remote vehicle control, Live vehicle diagnostics, Vehicle live location and geofence, valet mode and so on. The exclusive feature of this variant is electric sunroof with tilt function, Auto headlamps, rain-sensing wiper, cruise control and fully automated climate control. The safety kit includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, crash sensor, traction control, reverse parking camera and hill assist as standard. There're no changes in the dimensions and capacity of the vehicle. It still houses 350L boot space and a 44L fuel tank.

With the new update, Nexon has once again upped the game with all new Sunroof and BS-VI compliant engines and is likely to compete with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV-300, and Hyundai Venue.
