The BS6 version is found to be a cosmetic upgrade of Bolero Power plus edition. It's also expected to feature some major styling tweaks up front and rear including a new grille, new front bumper, new LED headlamps with new black and chrome inserts, modified Bonnet(Hood), central locking system and even a new set of wheels in the top-spec variant(B6(o)). With fewer exterior updates, it looks similar to the current version —œ Power plus edition. All these features definitely make Bolero look more premium than ever.

The safety kit features ABS with EBD, Driver airbag, high-speed alert, driver & co-driver seatbelt reminder, corner stability control and two Rear parking sensor as standard which is available in Power plus edition. The key aspect to note in this version is that it is compliant with the latest crash test norms which were introduced last year. The BS6 version shares its power train platform with the Power plus edition churning 71PS power and 195 Nm torque from 1.5L 3 cylinder Diesel engine. It is available in 5-speed manual transmission only. The forthcoming TUV 300 models are expected to go with the same powertrain platform.

As far as Interior updates are concerned, it features subtle changes in a cabin with a Digital instrument cluster and Driver infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto at the center. Although it has been two decades since Mahindra Bolero made its debut, it continues to remain the top seller with. 52900 units of Mahindra Bolero's current version sold from April 2019-Jan 2020. With the redesigned interior and exterior looks, the Bolero BS6 will surely retain its best-selling title in the SUV segment. Apart from Bolero BS6 version, Mahindra is quite busy with the line-up launch of New generation Thar, Scorpio, XUV 500 and TUV 300 in 2020.

The new Bolero BS6 is expected to be priced between Rs. 7.60 Lakhs to Rs. 9 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). The color options are to be revealed soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
