The Indian largest carmaker has officially discontinued the entry-level hatchback Maruti Alto K10. The Maruti Alto K10 has not been updated to BS6 norms by the automaker and we can observe that the Hatchback is available in Indian Markets since 2010 and seen very fewer changes and updates when compared to other models in the Maruti lineup. In 2019 the facelift model of Maruti Alto K10 was made available but it has seen almost no response from Indian customers.
Maruti Alto K10 was offered with BS4 compliant and the engine option is of 998cc Petrol Unit with 67 bhp of maximum power and 90Nn of peak torque and supported by 5-Speed Manual Transmission as Standard and Automatic Transmission as an optional. Maruti Alto 800 is the most affordable hatchback in the entry-level lineup of Maruti.
We assume Maruti discontinued Alto K10 because-
Maruti has officially removed the K10 from its official website and all booking portals. Customers are now going towards S-Presso, the logical successor of Maruti Alto K10.
