POTUS President Trump declared on Sunday that giant U.S. Automakers Ford Motor Co, General Motors Co, and Tesla Inc had been given the green light to start manufacturing ventilators and other gizmos required for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic.

"Ford, General Motors and Tesla are being given the go-ahead to make ventilators and other metal products, FAST! FEMA Go for it auto execs, let's see how good you are?" he tweeted. It was now not without delay clear what Trump meant by means of the companies "being given the go-ahead."
